It is very true, especially for city of Chicago, that free art events can bring a lot of people together. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chicago Summer Dance last year and I met a lot of nice Chicagoians. I'm sure it will take some time with the absence of Daley but it's always good to look toward a brighter future - hopefully one where the arts can continue to grow in the windy city.
